The ultra-thin wall benefit of our Enviro-Wire introduced the industry to new processing challenges. Standard cut & strip machines usually process wire with much heavier walls. We spent many hours working with customers to fine-tune our products and their processing equipment to accommodate high speed cut & strip operations. The result? In the past 24 months we have shipped over 50 million feet of Enviro-Wire, without a single return for processing issues.

We produce hundreds of custom cables originating from internal or external drawings. Quite often, once our products reach their application, the end user discovers a minor change that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of use. By maintaining the data of our process, we often return to the original design and tweak our cables for continuous improvement.

In an industry immersed in set-ups Hueson has developed a line of all purpose cables. This product was designed with small minimums and quick turnaround in mind.

4. Be Proactive/Pre-Solve Problems

   It’s very important to identify problems and pre-solve them before they affect the business. If a problem is fully predictable, that means it’s fully avoidable. Hueson Wire does one thing, we manufacture custom wire and cable. Our expertise and experience in this narrow field allows us to identify potential problems and raise the red flags while offering a solution before we manufacture the product.

A customer recently provided us with a print of a custom cable they wanted us to supply. They requested that we pressure extrude a very difficult jacket compound to create a perfectly round cable. Our experience warned us that this cable jacket would be extremely tough to remove so we recommended a special separator to ease jacket removal.

5. Work Your Team as a Crew

   What better example of teamwork than the precision of a Nascar pit crew. They are vital to the success of the outcome. Without one you cannot have the other, and without the crew, a driver cannot do his job. It is often overlooked that success is not achieved by individuals alone, but the flawless work of multiple individuals working in unison.
