The initial focus was supplying insulated single conductor lead wire products to private labelers and local distributors.<\/p>\n<p>During the years to follow, the wire and cable industry went through many dramatic changes. Larger factories absorbed several of the specialty wire and cable manufacturers through acquisitions. As the Big Box factories gobbled up the niche producers, they constantly evaluated their newly acquired product lines.\u00a0Often they focused on the competencies that fit into\u00a0<em>their<\/em>\u00a0product scheme with a total disregard for what the customers required. In turn they walked away from areas and opportunities that were not in <em>their<\/em> future plans.<\/p>\n<p>It was soon apparent to the management of Hueson that the industry had a need for a specialty wire and cable job shop where the focus was on niche products with a close connection to the customer.\u00a0 This led to the Company&#8217;s relocation into a much larger manufacturing facility in South Grafton, MA in 2019.<\/p>\n<h3>Hueson &#8212; A Specialty Wire and Cable Manufacturer<\/h3>\n<p>Today we operate as a full service specialty wire and cable manufacturer. While we still supply some of the standard UL &amp; CSA lead wires that our company first produced in 1996 our capabilities and offerings have rapidly expanded.<\/p>\n<p>The special connection we have with our customers had led us into many niche markets that originated as a solution to solve a single customer&#8217;s problem. Most notably has been our <a title=\"Enviro-Wire&#x2122; Products\" href=\"http:\/\/huesonwire.com\/site\/wire-and-cable-products\/envirowire\/envirowire-products\/\">Enviro-Wire product line<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Our Manufacturing Facility<\/h3>\n<p>We currently operate eight extrusion lines, two planetary cablers, ten braiders, and a wide range of additional cabling equipment, stripers, and spoolers. <a href=\"http:\/\/huesonwire.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/hueson-location-e1368809934689.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-612\" src=\"http:\/\/huesonwire.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/hueson-location-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Manufacturing Facility\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>We are constantly evaluating and adding new equipment, capabilities and approvals.<\/p>\n<p>Cables can be produced either with customer supplied drawings or samples, or designed in house by our product engineers. <a title=\"Contact\" href=\"http:\/\/huesonwire.com\/site\/contact\/\">Contact us<\/a> with your specific needs and requirements and we will submit a drawing for your consideration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hueson Wire &amp; Cable was founded in 1996 in Northbridge, MA.
